Who We Are

A heritage rooted in health and a legacy that continues to evolve. A gateway to a world of state-of-the-art facilities and a welcoming community. Your health and wellness—physical, social, emotional—can all thrive in one harmonized home in DTLA.

Our iconic Beaux-Arts property was built for us over a century ago. Designed as the perfect home base for all things athletic, social, and community, it still stands proudly at 7th and Olive in the heart of downtown Los Angeles.

LAAC was established by visionary minds back when Los Angeles was a city of just 11,000 people. It’s a hub for wellness, creativity, social connection, and so much more. It was LA’s first private club and continues to evolve, innovate, and embrace the dynamic vibe of DTLA.

Our Purpose

Through decades of growth and innovation, the Los Angeles Athletic Club’s core purpose remains the same: To create positive experiences through camaraderie, personal improvement, and healthful recreation.

Our Mission

The Los Angeles Athletic Club is devoted to the lifelong pursuit of health-giving amusements.
